01 / EDGE AIFIRM POWER + FIBER
Edge AI Node
Firm renewable power and fiber for inference, local data hosting and workloads that require predictable uptime.
- Data stays in-country
- Predictable uptime
- Sealed liquid cooling
The emergent grid
Gridless runs compute beside renewable power plants in Africa. Communities get the power they need first. AI runs on the firm supply. Bitcoin buys everything left.

What we do
The problem
Local electricity demand can take years to grow. That makes good hydro, solar and geothermal projects difficult to finance. Gridless brings a customer that can arrive quickly, buy unused power and reduce its load whenever homes and businesses need more electricity.

Every kilowatt has a buyer. Community first. AI second. Bitcoin buys the rest.
How a Gridless site uses power
Power supply changes through the day. Community demand changes too. Gridless matches each part of the available power with a load that can use it properly.
How we deploy
Gridless is building two node types for different power and connectivity conditions.
01 / EDGE AIFIRM POWER + FIBER
Firm renewable power and fiber for inference, local data hosting and workloads that require predictable uptime.
VARIABLE POWER + FLEXIBLE CONNECTIVITY
Renewable power and satellite or mobile connectivity for flexible batch work, supported by Bitcoin mining as the balancing load.
02 / OFFNETWhat comes next
Bitcoin only
Gridless is building its first AI nodes and extending GridlessOS to manage hybrid workloads. AI adds a higher-value use for firm power. Bitcoin remains the flexible buyer for everything left.
Profitable renewable-powered compute since 2022.
First nodes for firm and flexible workloads.
Extending dispatch across hybrid workloads.
What is operating
Gridless has run renewable-powered compute across six sites in three countries since 2022. The hard work is keeping computers running through heat, dust, difficult roads and changing power.
01Bondo, Malawi
Gridless became a steady customer for the local power plant as electricity access expanded around the site.
02Kenya / Hydro
Community electricity tariffs were reduced by about one third at Kenyan hydro sites.
03Zengamina, Zambia
Gridless provides 30% of the power plant's revenue by buying electricity that would otherwise go unused.
Data location
Others should not have to. Banks, telecoms, governments and local companies need compute close to their users and under local law. Gridless is building the operating network that can support those workloads.
